Glimpse

I'd just received my camera an hour before. I wanted to test it. The shots you see are the result of random shooting around the house. Then, after importing the footage into Final Cut Pro, it was only a matter of repetition, nuance, and context. Like much of my work, the visuals are based on rhythm and inflection. And, with Glimpse, like many things I do, there was no intended meaning... until after I'd watched it 20 times. My motion work is very intuitively approached. I'm not usually interested in 'story' so much as I am in atmosphere and inference.
