Maia Entertainment - WTTW's Image Union - ChicagoFilm.com presented The Chicago "Really" Short Film Fest on April 9 2004 hosted by The Abbey Pub (3420 W. Grace Chicago, Il 60618).

The title is long but the fest was short and sweet. Unlike most film festivals that last weeks, one week, or one weekend, we are hosted a one night event.

And what a great night it was! We had a great crowd that packed The Abbey. We screened 18 short films, enjoyed music from 3 local bands, handed out awards, ran into a couple of glitches, but in the end it was a fun night had by all.

Out of the 18 films screened 9 were recognized in one way or another by ChicagoFilm.com, Image Union, Erik Childress, and finally by the audience themselves.
