Sarah was born and raised in Western Springs, Illinois, a tiny suburb west of Chicago. She discovered her love for the arts when she was three years old.
She also found enjoyment in working backstage during productions. Set construction, stage crew, hair and make-up and house management were just a few hats she's been seen wearing.
Sarah attended Illinois State University with a major in Theater Management and The College of DuPage with a focus on Acting. Sarah made her film debut in 1998 in, none other than, Maia Films' Production of “The Promise of You”. This opportunity led her to many more independent films including “elevators” (directed by Jen White), “The After School Special” (Tripod Films) and “My Brother's Light” (Tripod Films). She also had the pleasure of performing in several student films and directing scenes at Columbia College Chicago.
In the Fall of 2003, Sarah decided to try a new hat. She joined forces with Maia Entertainment once again and gladly accepted the title of Producer on “Luci D”. Sarah has definitely found a new love in Producing. She most recently had the honor of both acting in and producing “Rehearsal Time”. She would like to thank her family, friends and the guys at Maia for all of the support and for making life so much fun!
