Bryan was born in Frankfurt, Germany while his father was an officer in the U.S. Army. After stops in Green Bay, Wisconsin and Richardson, Texas, his family settled in Naperville, Illinois.
Taking a cue from his mother, Bryan began acting at an early age. He attended the University of Iowa, where he received a B.A. in Communications. After college, he moved to Chicago, Illinois and has been pursuing this goal ever since. He has been seen on stage in Chicago and the surrounding area playing roles such as Laurie in “Little Women” (The Bog Theater) and Danny Zuko in “Grease” (HOTT Productions).
His film debut came in Maia Films' “The Promise of You”, where he met Rick Ramirez, Ti Kenneth Hayes and Sarah E. Dyer. He has since collaborated with them on several other projects including “Luci D” and “Rehearsal Time”. Bryan has been seen in other Chicago based independent films such as Cooked Goose Productions' “Boo!” (Scott), Tripod Films' “The after School Special” (Barney) and “My Brother's Light” (Brian). Bryan also appeared in several student films and directing scenes at Columbia College, Chicago.
Convinced by friends and family that he should try his hand at Improv comedy, Bryan studied at the Second City Theater in Chicago, completing their conservatory program. He also completed classes at Improv Olympic where he performs as a member of the house team “The Pat Shay Dancers”. He is a founding member of “The Dirty Immigrants”, a sketch comedy team that performs their special brand of humor in Chicago. When not performing, Bryan can be found cheering on the Chicago Cubs and the Green Bay Packers, which is sacrilegious here in Chicago, but he has always been different.
